WOW!! What a start!
Our first Sunday Night Worship service in many years came off without a hitch! Lots of people have told us it was very different from our morning worship but also very special. And, without a doubt, we're pleased with the attendance...over fifty people!
Pearce Sunderland served as our worship host for evening. He was joined by our Praise Band (we're still looking for a name) that included Erica Hopkins, Joel Dunlap, John and Jane Meynardie, George and Joyce Bendall, and Kim Buchanan. The music was great. The prayers were moving and inspirational. And the theme for this service, "Are You Listening?" was perfect for this time in most of our busy lives.
Pastor Bendall brought the message based on 1 Samuel 3, the call of Samuel.
Now, if you missed this month's evening worship service, you missed something special. So, please make sure and mark your calendar for next month's service, Sunday, October 17, 6:30 p.m. Remember, too, that there will be a dessert reception immediately after that worship service. Invite a friend or neighbor or co-worker, enjoy the service, then stick around for the food and fellowship. You'll have a great time and it will bring joy to the Lord's heart to see you here!
