Picnic in the Park

Last Sunday afternoon, our Westminster Family met at the Gazebo in the Bayou View Park, next to the church for a picnic.  If you weren't able to be there with us you missed a wonderful afternoon of food, fun and fellowship.  The weather was great.  Members and guests sat on the grass or brought their folding chairs and enjoyed sharing a story or two or three.  And a couple of strolling musicians even showed up to play some well-known tunes from ages past!

If you'd like to see who was there or relive the afternoon, please visit our Picture Gallery, which can be accessed by returning to the Home Page of our website.  Among the tabs on the left side of that page, under the heading "Current Happenings," you'll see a tab labeled "Picture Gallery."  Simply click on that tab and you'll be whisked away to a place where we keep all our great pictures in "electronic photo albums."  Our Picnic in the Park pictures are in the most recent album.  You'll be able to identify it when you see the picture of the Gregory family sitting on a blanket, enjoying their lunch together.  Place your pointer over the picture and double click.  The album should then open up for your viewing pleasure.

Enjoy...and don't forget that we're hosting the one-hundred member strong, Long Beach Concert Choir and Madrigals this Sunday in worship.  You won't want to miss this award-winning choir and their inspiring leadership as we gather together in the house of the Lord this Sunday, October 17, 2010!
